Commission Information

Commissions. Everyone’s doing it, everyone wants them done! Well, because I am quite poor and I get free requests quite often, I thought I might as well open myself up to commissions.

I am available for freelance illustration, with various traditional mediums. I do not colour digitally, so any requests made for those will be politely dismissed. I have the right to refuse any commission I do not want to complete.

I am available for:

Pencils, pens, and watercolors (and acrylics for highlights)
Fan art and original characters
Macabre/ horror
Portraits
Tattoo design
Pin ups/ smutty/ fetish (depends)
Anime
Disney

I will NOT do (but I am SURE you can find someone else to):

pornography/ naked men (they’re gross)
Racist images
Demeaning themes
Politics
photo realism
Furry.
Mecha/ robots
Complicated backgrounds
Scenes with lots of people (please no more than 2 or 3)

Basically, you can see what I’ve done in my gallery, so you pretty much have a decent idea of what you’re looking at. Obvious if it’s NOT something that you find in my stuff, it means I can’t or don’t have capability for it. Sorry. Please provide large images for fan art/ portraits and detailed descriptions of

ALL work will de done on Molekine sketch or watercolour paper (5 x7 inches or 12 ¾ x 20 cm), Deleter Sketch Book B5 sheets ( approx 7 x 10.5 inches or 19 x 26 cm), or Strathmore Watercolour Cold Press ( 9 x 12 inches or 22.9 x 30.5) I tend to work on a smaller scale for pictures, as you can see from the gallery.

Procedure for Commissions:

You send me a “note” on DeviantArt with “Commission” as the subject. You tell me what you want and how you want it and I’ll let you know what I can do. Please provide as many details and reference pictures as possible. I will have completed the piece within 1-2 weeks, and will have scanned it and posted in the Gallery. Then I will send you a note letting you know that it has been completed and bill you. Prices might be raised or reduced slightly depending upon what ends up happening with the piece. Mail me the check and I will be able to take care of sending the picture. Every picture will be sent in a full-sized manila envelope.

ALSO, please note!:

Owning the carbon copy of the image does NOT mean you own copy or artistic right over the image. (AKA: if I send it to you and you claim it as your own and post it in your gallery DOES NOT FLY.)
